Our cremation care coordinators ensure that each pet in our care, after saying goodbye to his or her family, is treated with respect and love throughout the cremation process. They keep track of each individual pet until the ashes can be returned home to his or her loving family. The cremation care coordinator position is open to those with strong and compassionate communication skills, amazing attention to detail, and a willingness to help with important office tasks.
Hampton Roads Veterinary Hospice is growing! We are hiring Associate Hospice and Palliative Care Veterinarians to help us to continue to provide high-quality, compassionate care to pets and their families here in Hampton Roads. Ideal candidates will have excellent communications skills and be comfortable assessing and discussing end-of-life issues in the client’s home. Hampton Roads Veterinary Hospice and Integrative Medicine is searching for its next pet loss and grief support group facilitator! The Hampton Roads Pet Loss Support Group has been meeting monthly since January 2012 and typically has 3-10 group attendees per meeting. Meetings typically rotate between in-person (Hampton and Virginia Beach) and virtual meetings, but we will be meeting virtually until further notice. Currently, meetings are scheduled for the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month from 6 pm-7:30 pm, but this schedule can be adjusted for a new facilitator. We are seeking individuals with expertise/experience in pet-related grief counseling & support to serve as facilitators of real-time virtual support sessions. Compensation is commensurate with licensure and experience.
