I remember when we went to pick you up from the airport, you were so cute. The staff said they thought of stealing you. Little did I know you were going to teach me so much about love and life. On our walks you would sometimes stop and turn up your nose to catch the smells in the breeze, and looked at me with such soft eyes, like you were showing me that those moments was what life was all about. I’ll never need another dog, you were the best. I’ll always remember you when the wind catches in the trees. I can’t wait to meet you again, and have you pull me on my bike down a never-ending country road. Until then, play in the snow my baby.
