Roxie Hart Robinson

Mar 24, 2026

Born on September 3, 2012, in Landstuhl, Germany, Roxie was discovered by her mom through a Facebook post looking to rehome two-month-old kittens. When her new parents, Clark and Melanie, brought her home, it took no time at all for Roxie to bond with their cat, Casanova, who had lost his friend Sugar a few months earlier.

A military kitty, Roxie traveled the world with her friend Casanova from Germany to Guam, to California, to Mississippi, and finally to Virginia. She did not enjoy the plane and car rides, but she did love each home—especially in CA and MS, where she and Casanova got to enjoy backyard life with their parents.

In 2022, Casanova was diagnosed with kidney disease and eventually lost his battle. Roxie definitely missed her buddy. She wouldn’t be a solo cat for too long, as later that year, new kitten sisters Stella and Josie joined the family.

Unfortunately, in 2024, a cancerous sarcoma was discovered in Roxie. She underwent surgery twice to remove it (and defied the odds by living well for two years after the first diagnosis). But she began to lose weight in Feb 2026, and the cancer returned. It was time to let her enjoy her final days.

On March 20, 2026, Roxie had an amazing final day with her favorites: tuna from a can, Temptations treats, lots of combing, and gentle snuggling. Her sisters Stella and Josie kept vigil, and her parents petted and sang softly to her as Dr. Lauren helped her cross the Rainbow Bridge.

Her ashes will join her buddy Casanova’s.
Loved and remembered always.
