We rescued Teddy from the SPCA in Virginia Beach on October 11, 2014. He was a PETA transfer, and his original name was Mark. He definitely does not look like a Mark, but he was most certainly a Teddy Bear. While the first few months, Teddy had difficulty adjusting to his new home and new brother Theo, he soon became the cuddliest Teddy Bear we could ever have found. The first few years of his life may not have been good, but I know we gave him the BEST 10 years of his life. Our lives will never be the same without our Teddy Bear to cuddle and receive kisses from. We had Teddy’s DNA/Age test done and he lived to be approximately 19 years old. He took his last breath in my daughters’ arms on November 6, 2024. I hope he felt how much he was loved and is missed every single day. I hope Teddy is rolling around on his back in the grass wherever he may be and enjoying the sunshine.
