Hampton Roads Veterinary Hospice provides personalized care for senior pets in the Hampton Roads area (Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News, & beyond). Our doctors focus on using integrative medicine modalities to improve quality of life for pets in the comfort of your own home.
Through our physical rehabilitation services, Dr. Sharon Cubelo, DVM, CCRP, CVA, CVMMP will provide education about your pet’s musculoskeletal system, their aging or disease process, and how to maximize their mobility and comfort. Physical rehabilitation can help decrease pain and inflammation, increase range of motion and flexibility, and build strength. Dr. Cubelo completed her training as a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner in 2017 through the University of Tennessee CCRP. She can make personalized exercise and treatment recommendations to help your pet maintain or improve their muscle tone, maximize comfort, and extend the mobility and independence of our animal companions for as long as possible. Working with Dr. Cubelo, families will learn the tools they need to participate in and lead physical rehabilitation sessions with their pets- making fitness fun again and slow the aging process!
