National Pet Memorial Day

Hampton Roads Veterinary Hospice and Integrative Medicine celebrates National Pet Memorial Day each year. Typically we hold an in-person gathering that evening and light memorial lanterns in honor of all of our dear friends waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge. It’s a time we all look forward to to come together in mourning, in celebration of life, and to get caught up with old friends. This year, as we all know, is different. And while that means we will be celebrating differently this year, we wanted you to know that we will still be celebrating and we hope that you will join us!

We are putting together a Bubble Release packet, which will be free for families to pick up at our office in late August/early September. We then encourage you to join us in spirit at 7pm on September 13th from your pet’s favorite beach or park, or from your backyard or car- wherever was a meaningful location for you and your pet.
